□ About table display screen
Press two finger and spread the width (pinch out),
width size of individual/organization
or year unit size spreads out.

Press two finger and squeeze the width,

1. Abstract

Chronica Lite 2 is the application for making a chronological table of individual/organization etc easily .

You can graspe easily the historical background of each person. You can arrange more than one chronological table on one screen, and it can be indicated too.
It has already contained some chronological data. This app has the export function and the table data you made can be taken out to PC/Mac.

If you would like to make the chronological table before A.C. 1700,
Please use Chronica Plus or Chronica 2 - Hitory Tool which is not Lite Edition .

Mac Edition(Plus), Windows10 Edition are available.

2. Main Menu

MainMenu1   

Category Item
Categorize and display the chronological table.

Independent Table Item
Select and display the chronological table which is not categorized.


Edit Table Item
Select and change the table data.

Add Table Item
Make new table data composed of name, individual, period .


Edit Individual Item
Select and change the individual data.

Add individual Item
Make new individual data composed of name, born/died date, events.. .

3. Add Individual Item

This screen is moved from   Add Individual     item of the main menu.



This screen has the function to make an individual or data such as organization.
In the case of Individual, last name or first name, the date of born are necessary.

When save_bttn button is tapped, this data is saved.
When cancel_bttn button is tapped, it's return to the main menu. This data is not saved.

3.1 Date Setting

This screen is moved from Select button button of the Individual Add/Edit screen or Event Add/Edit screen.

This can be used to input the date of birth, its age at death time and the date of the event.
This app does not have the check function of the date of the leap year.

If you would like to make the chronological table before A.C. 1700,
Please use Chronica 2 - History Tool which is not Lite Edition.

3.2 Add/Edit Event

This screen is moved from Event button button of the Individual Add/Edit screen.

This screen has the function to manage the event such as individual/organization to display in the chronological table.
An event is composed of the date and the content.

4. Edit Individual Item

This individual list screen is moved from   Edit Individual   >   item of the main menu.

This screen is listed the name and born/start date of all individual data.
Select the individual data to edit.

When save_bttn button is tapped, the information changed is saved and return to the list. It's reflected to the individual list.
When cancel_bttn button is tapped, it's return to the list. the information changed is not saved.

When   Delete This Data    button is tapped, its individual data is deleted from this app.


5. Add Table Item

This screen is moved from   Add Table    item of the main menu.

This screen has the function to make the chronological table data composed of the name and individual data, period data .

To select the period data, tap   Add Period Data   >   item of EDIT PERIOD DATA section .

6. Edit Table Item

This screen is moved from   Edit Table   >   item of the main menu.

This screen is listed the name of all table data.
Select the table data to edit.

"Edit Table" screen has the function to change the chronological table data composed of the name and individual data, period data.
  •   Export Data File  
    • The file of its table data is exported to the Documents folder.
    This file can be taken out from iTunes on PC/Mac.
    This data file can be import to Chronica app of other iPhone/iPod/iPad.

  •   Delete This Table  
    • This table data are deleted from this app.

  •   Save & View    button of the toolbar of the bottom
    • This table data are saved and displayed on Table Display screen.



    7.  New Category

    Tap   Category   >   item of the main menu => new_bttn button of the category list,
    "Add Category" screen is opened.

    This screen has the function to make new category data composed of some chronological tables on this screen.

    8. Category Item

    Tap   Category   >   item of the main menu, then the category list screen is opened.

    All categories are listed in this list screen.
    Tap edit_category_tab tab and select the category item, then "Change Category" screen is opened.

    9. View Table

    Below is the method to display the chronological table data.

    To expand/shrink the table, touch the screen in two fingers and do zoom/pinch of touchscreen gesture.

    A chronological table can't expand beyond 3,800,000 pixels.

    9.2 The whole display of the event

    If you touch the event which isn't displayed all, the event is expanded.
    When it touches it again, it is returned to initial status.
